It. Is. Done.

I started working on it Saturday afternoon and finished up a few hours ago. I can’t tell you how good it makes me feel to be able to do this. 

I’m a tech junkie stoner. I’ve bought a new computer every year for the last 5 years. I never really knew what to do with the old computers so I usually just threw them in a closet or in the garage.

My wife wanted a new computer because hers was running fairly slow and she needed a new graphics card for games. I salvaged a bunch of parts from the old computers and built her a “new” computer that runs well enough to play Warhammer.

Everyone knows not to touch Daddy’s computer. Even the dogs know. It is a sacred island upon which only one person, ME, has permission to enter. Consequently my wife is in constant battle with the kids for time on the “new”‘ computer.

My wife’s a trooper. She can take just about anything, hell, she put with me without meds for 6 years. Finally though, she had had enough. Her new addiction to Warhammer RvR finally drove her to voice to me the need for the shit heads to have their own computers.

So I set forth attempting to solve the problem. I salvaged even more parts from the old computers and built them two linux boxes of their ow. I used Ubuntu. Now they each have their own computer to play games on Nogging or Sprout. Yeah!
