My wife and I are guardians to three dogs. I have lived with dogs my entire life. I also consider myself a fairly well informed person when it comes to dogs. But today I stumbled across some information that I did not know and thought I would pass it on to my fellow dog guardians out there.
The following is a list of food that is potentially poisonous for you dogs.
Pear pips, the kernels of plums, peaches and apricots, apple core pips (contain cyanogenic glycosides resulting in cyanide posioning)
Potato peelings and green looking potatoes
Rhubarb leaves
Mouldy/spoiled foods
Alcohol
Yeast dough
Coffee grounds, beans & tea (caffeine)
Hops (used in home brewing)
Tomato leaves & stems (green parts)
Broccoli (in large amounts)
Raisins and grapes
Cigarettes, tobacco, cigars
Onions
Chocolate
Macadamian Nuts
